Nicholas Woodeson is an English actor portraying Delaney's attorney Robert Thoyt in the BBC and FX original drama Taboo.

Nicholas Woodeson has an extensive array of credits spanning film, television and theatre and stars in Taboo as “Robert Thoyt.”

Woodeson recently portrayed “Harold Wilson” in The Audience in the West End, played “Malvolio” in Twelfth Night as the first production in the new Everyman Theatre, Liverpool, “Max” in The Homecoming at the RSC, “Mr. Prince” in Rocket to the Moon at the National Theatre, and “Burleigh” in Mary Stuart on Broadway.

His recent television credits include The Living and the Dead (BBC), The Eichmann Show (Feelgood), George Gently (Company), Mapp and Lucia (BBC),New Tricks (Wall To Wall), Ripper Street (Tiger Aspect), The Honourable Woman (BBC), and Agatha Christie's Poirot (ITV).

Film credits includes Race (Trinity), The Danish Girl (Kvinde Films), Skyfall (Eon), Hannah Arendt (Heimat), John Carter (Disney), The Pelican Brief (Warner Bros), The Russia House (Pathe), and Heaven’s Gate (UA).[1]
